4 Truths To Know About Your Purpose

“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.”
‭‭‬‬‬‬- Jeremiah‬ ‭29:11‬ ‭NLT‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

Right now, it may seem like your purpose is bleak, dark, impossible, and just hard. With everything going on today, a lot of people are having doubts about what they are supposed to do. The good thing is that our purpose, the plans that God has for us, gives us a future and a hope to look forward to.

Yes, the Lord has plans for us. His plans for us are our purpose for existing on this Earth today. Someone can’t be born without a purpose to fulfill. Everyone has a mission to accomplish.

This is great and awesome to know, but you must ALSO know that the plans that he has for you

1. Are Good
2. Not for disaster
3. Gives you and me FUTURE
4. Gives you HOPE

I’ve read this verse a lot of times over the years, and I have focused on the part of the verse that tells me that he has a purpose for me. However, I never focused on the other side of this verse that says to me how good the plans are and how they affect me.

His plans give ME a future, and it provides ME hope.

The reason that we can know that we have a good future ahead of us is the fact that we have a purpose to fulfill. Many times the reason we don’t see a future in hard times is that we allow fear to stop us from fulfilling our mission. That is one of the reasons the enemy tries to get to focus on the Problem.

The Problem Isn’t Stopping You From Your Purpose.

We all have things in our lives that pop up. Jesus said that in this life, we would have trials. He would know! When Jesus was here on this Earth, He had people that loved Him and followed. There were also people around Him that betrayed Him and set Him to be killed. However, He still pushed through to fulfill His purpose.
